CALPHAD 2027

54th International Conference on Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry

University of Birmingham,

13 - 18 June 2027

The annual CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagrams) Conference is the discussion meeting of a vibrant community of scientists, industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts with a shared interest in the thermodynamics of materials from computational, experimental, first-principles, and, increasingly, AI-driven perspectives. This encompasses the application of thermodynamics to materials modelling and processing, microstructure prediction, and materials design. The CALPHAD community warmly welcomes new members to the family.

Following CALPHAD traditions, oral presentation will be held as a single session, with poster presentations throughout the week, software demonstrations and time for informal discussions between sessions and during social activities. A number of workshops will be held before the start of the main conference.
